| Tunisian Social Solidarity Union is the main non-governmental organisation striving for the development of the feeling of solidarity and mutual aid. It is carrying out social and relief aid, self-development in favour of the deprived. TSSU is ruled by the low of associations N° 154 of 1959 as amended in 1988 and 1992. On December the 17th 1988, the TSSU replaced the National Committee for Social Solidarity.
